I spent the rest of the journey in the company of a lovely woman in the Honeymoon suite.Christian Lindkehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12381310217234123318noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13713642.post-39309342870249272602010-08-24T15:23:37.078-05:002010-08-24T15:23:37.078-05:00On the Old English cruise, they make you stir the ...On the Old English cruise, they make you stir the ice-cold sea with your hands.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13713642.post-86718431593976193532010-08-23T16:37:35.101-05:002010-08-23T16:37:35.101-05:00I remember a 1960s film review in which John Simon...I remember a 1960s film review in which John Simon smacks a film for making the same mistake: a child prodigy is said to be able to recite flawless Old English, and then proceeds to intone something in Middle English. Perhaps it was The Sandpiper, with Burton and Taylor?N.E. Brigandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17601573470596905112noreply@blogger.com
