Medieval Christmas Music

OK, since I can't understand what they're singing (nor can I even identify the language for sure), I can't confirm the YouTube indentification of this as "medieval Christmas music" -- but it sure is peppy!

Same here, but the music doesn't really get going until about 1:50 or so.

Very peppy! My kids really liked both pieces, especially when I cried out, "Is that a sackbut?" The six-year-old boy REALLY loves his new vocabulary word. (Though, that's really a Renaissance instrument, but what does he know.)

For that first piece: Googling reveals that "Staromestske namesti" is Old Town Square in Prague, which leads me to believe they are singing in Czech.

  2. These are great - I wish I knew what they were saying though.
