"Beowulf & Grendel" Reviews

Some folks at AnSaxNet have pointed out two reviews of Beowulf & Grendel from Seattle, neither of which is particularly good. One calls it a "treat" visually, but "potty-mouthed," while the other calls it "limp." By the way, who in Hollywood decided that the word "and" must always be replaced by ampersands?

Of course, no one could expect it to rise to the level of Christopher Lambert's Beowulf, the viewing of which has been proven to cause sterility in laboratory mice.

  1. Are you allowed to mention Christopher Lamert's Beowulf? I thought it was a mere figment of our collective imagination. You know...like Highlander 2 or Highlander 2 the Renegade Edition.

I feel like I'm sitting next to Michael Ironside in a David Cronenberg film.
