Here's a discussion of Tolkien and myth with a history prof. from the Hillsdale College Tolkien Society. I think it is a little old -- from a couple of comments made, it sounds like the interview was done shortly before the release of Peter Jackson's Two Towers -- but the discussion isn't about film, really. Quite nice.
