Beowulf vs. the Nazis

I'll be doing a public presentation entitled "Beowulf vs. the Nazis" on November 12th at 3:30, in Smith Hall 271 here at Troy University. If you come, I promise (and I'm not kidding):
  • Profanity
  • Racism
  • Blasphemy
  • Anti-Semitism
Really, now, where else are you going to find a good time like that on a Wednesday afternoon?

  2. Please, please, please get someone there with a video camera and youtube it (or in some other way make the results available). Alabama is quite a ways away and I hunger for this talk. I imagine there are many in my position.

I assume Beowulf wins (Beowulf always wins).

  3. I'm so very sad I can't see it. It sounds great!

  4. Update:

So many people asked me to video record this and put in online that I looked into it. We're going to try to do the actual event, but if that's not possible (as it may not be because of timing with the campus TV folks), we'll re-do all or part of it in the studio.

I've been so busy of late, and slow with the Miscellanies as I wait for my new computer, that it's the least I can do.
